TANALITH E and fire retardant Holz Prof
Many of our clients are wondering if the wood treated with the wood preservative TANALITH E can be additionally protected against fire and ignition by treating it with Holz Prof fire retardant. Yes, it’s possible!
In our laboratory we have carried out tests that have confirmed that the boards treated with TANALITH E can be covered with our fire retardant product. Besides the compatibility, the tests have also proved the fire resistance and non-inflammability of the wood.
The impregnated with TANALITH E wood, as a rule, acquires a green colour, but after the treatment with Holz Prof fire retardant the boards restore the original wooden colour. The wood treated with TANALITH E and Holz Prof can be covered with finish products: varnish, paint, wood oil, etc., after the complete drying.
Soon, we will perform an official tests in an accredited laboratory of the wooden boards treated with TANALITH E and Holz Prof fire retardant to receive a class of fire to reaction.
